Fortiva makes email management software. They also have a pretty good blog that appears to be written by a number of their senior people. It's a vendor blog, and so it has their point of view of the world; that said, it's also a pretty informative blog. I can recommend it comfortably as a good example of how to do a vendor blog.
Today they have a great post written by Alan Armstrong, their VP of business development, called "
The Incredible Cost of .PST Files". The post talks about single-instance storage, and why that's a GOOD thing, and how well-intentioned users can circumvent it, possibly resulting in a single 1-MB attachment sent to 10 people taking up 100MB of storage space through the effects of .PST files and their backups.
