I thought I'd already written this, but apparently not! In June, I made the decision to join Epiq Global.
Who is Epiq Global?
Epiq is a large, multinational professional services firm with more than 6,000 employees worldwide. They are very well-known in the legal industry and have deep expertise in law firm administration and support services.
They also offer a variety of business services in the areas of administration, document processing, marketing, hospitality, digital mailroom, and records & information governance, among others, via their Global Business Transformation Services division. This is the division I joined as a Senior Consultant, Records & Information Governance. While I haven't even been there a month, I will say that everyone I have met has been uniformly welcoming, amazingly smart, and passionate about the work they do for Epiq and ultimately their clients.
While Epiq is more recognized in the legal industry, they also do work for 76 of the Fortune 100, and regularly provide business support services to organizations of all types and sizes. You can find out more about their service offerings at https://www.epiqglobal.com/en-us/services. I'd be happy to have, or facilitate, conversations about how Epiq can contribute to improving your organization's operational excellence.
What About The IG/RIM Industry?
At the same time, I'll still be contributing to and supporting the broader records & IG industry, doing things like:
- Publishing my semi-monthly IG/RM/DM/AI-related events listings
- Speaking at local chapters
- Speaking at industry conferences
- Doing other presentations on behalf of Epiq
- Cohosting the IG Community Roundtables with Steve Weissman of Holly Group and Donda Young of Helias Consulting
- Volunteering with ARMA Mile High Denver Chapter, AIIM International, and ARMA International
- Etc.
So what this means is that Athro will be going dormant for the foreseeable future. I'll still pay the taxes and file the annual report, but anything I do work-wise will be going through Epiq.
