About Me

I have worked as an information professional for more than twenty five years as an end user, vendor, consultant, and trainer. My areas of expertise include information governance, enterprise content management, electronic records management, email management, social business processes and technologies, and training and certification development and delivery. I also served on the Boards of Directors for AIIM International (2004-2005) and ARMA International (2007-2010).

I have written numerous articles on information management topics and delivered more than 800 presentations to more than 10,000 attendees since 2002 including AIIM 2003-2024, ARMA 2003-2024, MER 2010-2023, and many other industry conferences and events. I am an accredited AIIM Training Partner. 

I received the the AIIM Education Award in 2006, and the ARMA Britt Literary Award in 2009 for my article with Patrick Cunningham, "A Walk in the Cloud". In 2020 I was enrolled into the AIIM Company of Fellows as Fellow #223, and in 2022 I was inducted into the InfoAdvocates Information Governance Hall of Honor.
