At the ARMA Canada Information Conference this week, ARMA and RIMPA Global announced the formal launch of the Global Information Consortium. RIMPA had previously announced this in April.
RIMPA's announcement from this week on their website is scanty; ARMA doesn't have anything on their website at all. And the GIC web page is bare bones as well. As more information becomes available, I'll post it here, but for now, there's something going on but there's very little detail as to what it actually is.
